Velvet exploring her new home

A silver wolf was wandering around her new home, she smiled and said to herself "I will love this new home I can't wait to meet everybody especially the alpha. This will be so much fun I can't wait to go hunting and bathing in the early sunshine." She let out a very happy howl as she pounced around her new home she couldn't wait.

Her pelt glistened as she pounced around the woods silvery-grey. Her sapphire blue eyes scanned around for a glimpse of the beta or alpha she wanted to play and get to know them some more. She draw patterns in the ground as she pounced and bounded around. She was a very happy wolf now she had a pack to live with instead of a loner as she used to be. She might even remember who her siblings were as she was abandoned as soon as she could open her eyes by her mother for being the runt of the pack, so she would always be the smallest wolf in her new pack. She would have a family to play around with and look after her and for her to pick up her hunting skills as she had a struggle to catch big prey by herself she had only ever eaten rabbits, shrews, mice even the occasional bird so she wasn't the biggest wolf as of yet until she can catch a decent meal she was always hungry because small animals didn't do a lot of filling up and it didn't help that her mother abandoned her when she was only a small pup.

She has always been a submissive wolf as she has never been taught to fight or challenge another wolf so she came looking for a pack to teach her a bit about fighting and hunting bigger prey and enjoying every moment. She said softly "I might even find a mate that would be great I would never abandon my pups if I ever had any." She continued pouncing and bounding around taking her new area and home in with every pounce and bound she was hoping some one would see her and talk to her.
Her name Velvet Isis Shadowheart or Vel for short.

Being the medic I walk around a lot seeing if anyone is need of my help. But today I didn't see anyone hurt, like usualy, but I see our new member pouncing about happily. I smile and walk over.

Velvet smiled and said softly "Hello, my name is Velvet but you can call me Vel or something else to your taste I don't mind. Who might you be?" She continued bounding around slightly but stopped and sat on her haunches while the wolf that approached her and replied to Vel's question. Her tail was wagging as she sat on her haunches as she was excited.

I laughed a bit and said "Hi Vel, I'm Rosy, I'm the medic of this pack" I smiled. I then walk over and sit beside her "How are you liking it so far here?" I asked looking sideways at her.

Velvet smiled and said "nice to meet you Rosy. I'm liking it a lot it is going to be a great home for me to learn the things I didn't learn when I was a young pup as I got abandoned by my mother as soon as my eyes were open." She lowered her head slightly at how sick she was when she got abandoned she was ill for ages and she still isn't 100 % and she never will be but she didn't want to mention it to the medic, she knew she would never be as strong as other wolves but she was still alive at least.

She said "I can't wait to meet the alpha and the beta and the other pack members I'll once again have a family which won't leave me out in the cold as long as obey the rules which I will." She wagged her tail some more and wanted to bound and pounce again.

Rosy smiled "The Alphas and Betas are nice" she said, " and we will never abandon you Vel...I promise" she said as she nudged her playfully. She stood and looked at Vel "You don't seem alright Vel...You are happy and all but somethings off" Rosy said not knowing what it is "tell me please". Rosy didn't like when her pack members were ill.

I heard voices and walked over to find Rosy talking to a new wolf. The word "pixieish" came to kind when I saw this wolf, and I thought she looked a little under the weather, but I smiled and introduced myself. "Hi, my name's Swift Paw, what's yours?"

Velvet smiled slightly and said softly "I never had all my momma's first milk as she abandoned me when my eyes were open and when she did abandon me i was a really sick pup but some how I survived but I'll never be a 100 % because of that reason of me not having all the first milk. I don't think anything will cure me completely Rosy." She picked her ears up as a new voice came to her she smiled and said "Velvet Isis Shadowheart but you can call me Vel or Velvet your choice or anything else you can think off it won't bother me." Her tail wagged excitably at the swift paw he was a lot bigger then her but she knew every wolf will be bigger then her.

This one has a lot of energy, I thought. "I'm the gaurdain, and the alpha and beta are around here somewhere, you'll meet them soon."

Velvet smiled and said softly "I hope so I can't wait. I'll have a lot of fun here and I will never break the rules." Her tail continued wagging excitably. She barked happily she didn't seem ill even though she was but only because of a low immune system and being a very sick puppy when she was younger.

"ok peole," i say walking over and nodding at the new pack member "change of ranking, now we've got two alfa's, thats me and fire pelt, two beta's thats swift paw and who ever wants it, and a gaurdian and medic who ever wants them."

I was surprised, and it showed on my face. "Well, Vel, it looks like you've met the guardian and one of the beta's," I chuckled, grinning.

Velvet giggled and said softly "Indeed Swift paw." She nods in return to the alpha she smiled and started pouncing around again she wanted to play but she wasn't going risk playing with the alpha male. Her tail wagged excitably she barked happily and she didn't look sick at all anymore even though she was, she was acting like a pup as per usual as she had never had a good puppy life after her mother abandoned her and she was ill for near enough a year an half.

I giggled at Vel and went to Grey Hide and licked his snout Love you I whispered. Then I went around him and said "I'll be the beta female and medic" I yelped happily. Then I went to Vel "Don't worry, Grey Hide is a real softy" I giggled and yelled "Who wants to play tag?!" I started to run around everyone. I wanted some fun too.

Velvet smiled and barked "I'm up for it Rosy. How about you Grey hide?" She ran after Rosy, barking happily.

"i'm up for it," i say sniffing the air "somethings not right hear pack call off."

Velvet gulped softly and asked "what is a pack call off Grey hide?" She trembled slightly from a little bit of fear. Her ears pricked forward trying to hear anything, but she couldn't hear a thing she scanned the area still not picking up anything. She whimpered slightly.

"bark you name and if your ok"

Velvet nodded and barked "Velvet and I'm ok a little scared but I'm ok Grey hide."

i nodded

I stopped and crouched "Rosy and I'm fine too" I said as sniffed the air. Wonder what Grey Hide heard? I thought to myself couriously. I started listening intently.

i could smell another pack in the area

I smelt what Grey Hide did. "Do you know them Grey Hide?" I asked backing up next to him.

"No, anyone else?"

I shook my head "I don't"
